Words of Leka

I am into making of brand new company, that will replace and upgrade Leka Web and Graphic Design Studio. New website comes along within new package. Almost everything will change, including approach and rules of the game. Stay tuned to learn more about this change. Deadline for finalization is scheduled for mid summer this year. I hope everything will work as planned.

I’ve had recently discussion about fixing/extending project with client.
She came to me with her life story,
only to make point, after many hours of discussion,
[and some years of my dedication to that project]
with the statement that i cannot ever accept.
Proposal was that I should go on working full speed, for nothing, gratis, nada,
on something that would soon deliver money and career to her.
All covered under “The best intentions, and friendship”.
And I’ve got, within that performance,
many “great advices” on howto’s in business, from the client.
Amazing, no!?

How strange!

I can’t believe people could do that.
Did I miss something?
Me working - others taking money?

Yep.
Sure.
Aha.
Mhm.
Common!
Let’s be stupid.
Let us all be stupid and work for those who are so smart.
Let us be blind and obedient.

I’ll give you a tip:
If your client [ever] starts talking about how you should run your business: smile.
Drink up your coffee.
Look at your wrist watch.
Excuse yourself.
And never ever look back.

And that is exactly what I mean! One of the best photographers on Flickr (and maybe broader) is talking to my subtle being again. I will cherish this photo for a very long time, i know. This is something internet cannot understand, i think. There are some who do this, and feel this, and I respect them. I will always be glad to get in contact with you, subtle souls.
